If you can't make it to the shop in St Michaels, then check out our website or Facebook for photos. Cheers!

What a great weekend with James singing and putting everyone in a great mood during WineFest at St Michaels. We hope to have him visit several times throughout the year. Hard to believe he's still in high school!

Longboard Vineyards Blog Entry for WineFest tastings at Ophiruoidea
WineFest St. Michaels, Maryland
by MEGAN on MAY 4, 2011
Hosted & Told by Shella & Kim, Ophiuroidea
PHEW! What a weekend! We had anINCREDIBLE turn out! Literally you could not get into our shop at one point there were so many people wanting to sample the LB! I can honestly say that everyone Loved the Wines!! The SB was a HUGE hit as well as the Pinot Noir and the Merlot. I just loved watching peoples faces. Especially the “I usually don’t drink reds” people. “OH WOW this is REALLY GOOD WINE!” is what came out of just about everyones mouth.
Longboard Tasters enjoyed Planked Charcoal Smoked Salmon with the Sauvignon Blanc and the Pinot Noir and Decadent Chocolates with the Dakine Merlot.
On Friday we met Butch and Sally Wilson. Sally has done The Winter Wine Roads twice! She told us she absolutley LOVED The Longboard Tasting Room! We Were So jealous!
Kim’s husband Bob was our/your Kahuna for the weekend. He was so awesome people actually thought he was from LB!
I spoke to Brooke who owns Town and Country Liquors last evening. She had a case of each of the wines. The tasting they had went very well on Friday and she has sold most of her wines and people were still calling to see if she had any left!
She has offered to get a festival permit for next years Winefest and pour wines at our location! Which means people would be able to purchase the wine on the spot and not have to go elsewhere to get it! I think LB has a home in Town and Country now :).
- Winefest at St Michaels & LongBoard Vineyards wine enthusiastically loved and enjoyed by Ophiuroidea! We already look forward to our next tasting event & WineFest next year
It was our pleasure to host your wines. As we told many who asked ”What is your connection with Longboard?” We are simply in LOVE with the wine!!
We can’t wait to have our next Tasting Event at Ophiuroidea!

Check out St. Michaels Wine Festival
Check out St. Michaels Wine Festival Channel 2 News Link
Ophiuroidea's sign at least made it to the live shot video for Channel 2 News from Baltimore this past weekend for WineFest at St Michaels footage. Eric from St Michaels Crab & Steak was on it, but did they put the name of the restaurant? No, but Eric did a great job!

WineFest at St Michaels, Ophiuroidea & LongBoard Vineyards Wine Tasting

Kim's husband Bob was our/your Kahuna for the weekend. He was so awesome people actually thought he was from LB! We can't wait to have another wine tasting, and sounds like Town & Country Liquors will keep some in stock, and possibly Tilghman Island Country Store is also interested!
Next year will be even bigger and better, with the possibility to Town & Country coming to the shop to sell the wines on the spot! Winefest at St Michaels was a great success with many more to come! Can't wait til next year!
